Weather Machine

Weather Machine was developed out of a workshop “Preparing to be free” with Martin Parker, professor for sound design at the University of Edinburgh and Edinburgh College of Art, Reid School of Music. The aim of the workshop was to enable us to use Raspberry PIs as an available platform to build little instruments for live performance. Using Pure Data and the OSC Protocol we made an atmospheric instrument which lets us create a weather inspired atmosphere with multiple PIs and thus perform a multichannel improvised piece at the presentation of the International Week at FH-Joanneum.
