The Swarm

Project description

Swarm behavior can often be observed in nature. In the VR game “Swarm” the player can enter a world and become part of a swarm. Using ambisonics and binaural stereophony, the player experiences a 3-D sound image and must help the four swarm to find their harmonious home again. In each of the 4 areas of the game world there is a keynote and each swarm emits sounds on contact, which in combination with the matching tonic create a harmonic image.
